{Painted Glass Easel Card}

Hi there, thank you for popping in on my blog today.
This post is jam packed with new goodies and techniques.
It focuses particularly on the Painted glass stamp set and Stained Glass thinlet dies.

When I have a new stamp set and die on my craft table, I like to play with it lots to get to know what it can do and also to show you the potential of it.
 The cards below are fairly simple in design, but have lots of texture and detail.

Here I have layered circles and the stained glass shapes to create a focal point around the coloured in butterfly.

I used the Stampin' Blends markers, which incidentally are back in stock!
The dies from this set cut such delicate designs and create the perfect background to these butterflies.

Using the embossing mats to create texture is such a fun and simple technique.

The stained glass image is just perfect for colouring in.  It was so relaxing.

And here is a pretty easel card to how off the design

Enjoy the video as I go into more detail of how I made the cards.

{Swap making - flowers and polkas}

Been trying to make a start ton some swaps for a Stampin' Up! event coming up in November.

I am totally in love with this colour combo and the Flourish Thinlets Die.  The die brush makes it so easy to extract the delicate die cuts from the metal dies.  Saves all the faffing I used to do with wax paper!

Here are some pics, and below is a video of me making a few.

-{Stamping a uniform pattern on vellum}-

Phew, what a busy month! Last night was the 6th Stampin' Up! event out of 7 for me this month.  It's been great fun meeting new people and introducing them to Project Life, card making and using our fab products for home decor projects.  Only a few more days and Saleabration 2015 will be over :( So if you would like to earn yourself a freebie please place an order for £45 or if you would like to become a demonstrator for £99 you can choose yourself £130 of products AND an extra 1 or 2 gifts!
Contact me for more details.

Today's video is about creating a uniform pattern on vellum, below is a card I made using this technique.  Sorry the video gets glitchy and stops abruptly at the end.  My poor device was running out of storage space towards the end!

To order current Stampin' Up! products go to my online {shop} open 24/7.
For every £45 spent you can choose a free gift from the Saleabration brochure, and if you spend over £150 you get hostess credit starting at £25.

-{Enchanting}-

I've used the papers from the Everyday Enchantment collection from the current Saleabration brochure.

Behind the flower I have punched some vellum with the Decorative Border Punch and scrunched it to create a frilly ruff behind the rose.
