{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Favourite DSP, Ribbon and Embellishment}

Hello and Happy Sunday!
Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop.  Taking part in this blog hop are some amazing Stampin' Up demonstrators who create some inspirational projects, please make sure you have a look at their work.

Petal Promenade designer series paper available from Ruth Trice

We could choose our favourite paper, ribbon and embelishments for this months projects.
I choose the Petal Promenade papers, with the metallic threads and white flax ribbon and the Share What you love Artisan Pearls.

I wanted to redecorate a box that I use to store my card bases in, this is what I ended up with...

Then I set to work on the card.
The papers are an absolute dream, so many gorgeous florals and contrasted with with the softer designs of marble.  It's currently available (while stocks last) in the Annual Catalogue.

I knew I wanted to use one of the wreaths that is a feature on one of the papers, so I carefully fussy cut that out with my paper snips.

I cut out various shapes from the Birds and Blooms and the Beautiful Layers die sets.
To add more dimension to the card I made rolled paper flowers.

{Christmas Stampathon 2019- Christmas Cards inspired by a picture}

Welcome to the...

4th Round of the
Christmas Stampathon 2019

Be inspired every month with a Christmas Challenge on the 25th of the month.

The challenge this month is to use the image below as inspiration to create whatever Christmas Projects you would like.

When you have made your creation, please photograph it and add it to the Facebook group here.

I am joined by the 3 other demonstrators from around the world

Denise Kepple Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin'  from America

Ellen Woodbridge  and Rosalie Desmond from Australia

This challenge was really good fun, it was great to be a little bit limited, but also have the freedom to play.  The classic colour scheme is so comforting and "Christmassy".

I ended up using quite a few retiring sets.  The long standing Lovely as a Tree set is going to be missed out of the catalogue.  Please pop it in your basket now if you would like it, it's only available while stock last.

Here is my video tutorial...

{Onstage and New Catalogue Sneak Peeks}

Long blog post alert!

Had a lovely weekend with nearly 600 other Stampin' Up Demonstrators.  We laughed, cried, crafted, made plans and got to see and play with some new product.

I was privileged to attend the leaders event on the Friday night, where 60 demonstrators were treated to a lovely meal, some news, and some business training. I'm so grateful to all my team and customers for sticking with me and enabling me to enjoy these events.

Here are my lovely teamies who attended receiving their new catalogues.

It's always lovely to catch up with them, and be a bit zany with my sister who is in my team too!

We watched some fab demonstrations of new products, here is Cary Buckham's samples

and a stunning card by Amanda Fowler.

One of the exciting reveals is the new in colours, they are pictured at the top of the display board.
They are:
Rococo Rose
Purple Posy
Pretty Peacock
Seaside Spray
Terracotta Tile
I can't wait to get my hands on them to play and see what they look like against our existing colours.

Here are the new patterns for the Designed Series Paper in our colour collections.  I love the script pattern.

I thought this was an adorable new card kit.

Below are pictures of the other suites.

As soon as I got back, I did a video sharing all the goodies and swaps I received.
Grab a cuppa and enjoy!

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Stampin Up Touches of Texture}

Hi there, welcome to my blog, sorry I didn't get round to doing a one sheet wonder last week.

This week, as I had the stamps and inks out I decided to do two.

I've used the fabulous Touches of Texture stamp set, it has lots of beautiful images.

I limited my palette to Greens and Yellow and used
Tranquil Tide
Garden Green
Lemon Lime Twist
Pineapple Punch

Although I have made bookmarks from these, they could be cut in a different way to make card fronts or a scrapbook layout.
