Hi there, I'm Ruth, thank you for visiting my blog.
I live in Mid Wales with my husband and four children.
I am an Independent Demonstrator for the company Stampin' Up! This means I get to combine two of my passions in life, crafting and showing others how to craft.
Since the age of six when my mum taught me how to knit, I have always enjoyed creating things. I have a degree in Theatre, Film and Television where I particularly enjoyed set and costume design.
Since then I have worked for a wedding dress designer, a community development organisation, taught drama and run various workshops. Cardmaking has been the main hobby that I have kept doing, I love the idea of being able to create something so personal and special for the people close to me.
Why Stampin' Up? Having experienced the quality of the products that they sell I wanted to be able to share these with others and also teach people how to use them effectively. In this current financial climate I am aware that crafting could be seen as a luxury spend. However by making careful purchases and learning how to use them well, I believe that the results will be worth the money spent.
Join me for a crafting adventure!
