{Stampin Sunday Blog Hop - Say Hello to...}

Hello, and a huge warm welcome to anyone joining via the blog hop.

There are so many gorgeous products to choose from in this year's January to June mini catalogue, and such a variety to suit all tastes.

Please remember to have a look at the other amazing stampers taking part in this hop, the list will be at the bottom of this post.

I decided to use the Grassy Grove bundle to show off, however confession time, I ended up using only the dies!

When I first saw them in the catalogue I fell in love with them, the detail is exceptional, and I love that they're great for creating masculine style projects.

For example here is a bag made from a 6" x 12" piece of card and the main die.

Behind the trees I have stuck a piece of vellum from the Layering Designs pack.

I used the vellum with the white map, it created a lovely soft background.

Here is the card made using lots of the other die.  There are trees, scenery and deer cut from white card stock and more of the vellum all layered up.

Thank you so much for taking a look, to see how I created these check out this video

{Blessings of Home and Flowers of Home Dies}

Well, a very
Happy New Year
to all my readers

Thank you for sticking with me!
2021 was a bit of a whirlwind, this time last year I was getting ready to move house.  Since then we have been slowly settling in and getting used to our new space as a family.  I was very grateful to be able to squeeze a studio into the garden so I could easily carry on my Stampin' Up! business.  I feel like I am emerging out of a Covid bubble and am adjusting to the possibility of being able to run in person classes again whilst also maintaining and improving my online presence.

So for those of you who don't know, I have a YouTube channel {here} where I have been doing `live' crafting sessions nearly every weekday night for the last 2 years. If you would like to get a Whatapp notification from me to tell you when I am on please email me ruthtrice@gmail.com (sorry I don't have a schedule).  If you don't catch me live the videos are viewable afterwards.

The January to June mini catalogue is now available and can be viewed {here} or you can go to my online shop {here} and see all the yummy new products.

The card below were made during a live using the gorgeous new stamp set called Blessings of Home, it also has a coordinating die set.

The flower focal image was coloured in using Stampin' Blends, they are alcohol pens that are available in the light and dark version of each colour, it makes colour blending really easy.

The white thread you can see was taken from some ribbon I pulled apart, it's called Frayed Ribbon (158138)

Here is the second card

This time I took the main image and stamped it in Blackberry Bliss, then using a Blender Pen, I semi coloured in the flowers by reactivating the Blackberry Bliss and pulling it into the pale parts of the image.  I also cut some delicate leaves using the dies and coloured them in with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend

Have you spotted the pretty vellum? It's a printed one called Layering Designs

To shop for all the products featured in today's post I have created a simple shopping cart link {here}

Here is the video of me making the cards...
