Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - The Weather Man

Thank you for popping by today, I'm so happy with this card for the
STAMPING SUNDAY BLOG HOP

The theme this month is "The Weather Man", I decided to choose a rainbow theme as a link to weather.  We get to enjoy some wonderful rainbows here in Mid Wales, the prevalence of the regular rain helps with that!

I grabbed some card strips from my scrap pile and ran through the Timber 3D embossing folder after dousing it with Basic Gray Ink.
The colours I used were Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Coastal Cabana, Azure Afternoon, Blueberry Bushell, Berry Burst, Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink.

Using the co-ordinating inks and blender brushes I applied some ink and some images in Smoky Slate.
The Sketched Butterfly stamp set and dies were perfect for creating a lovely focal cluster of butterflies.

After arranging them I couldn't resis splattering some ink using my Stampin' Blends.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Heart and Home

Well, a very Happy New Year to you crafty friend.

It has been a long while since I have blogged.  Although I have been creating, and teaching and being busy, I'm afraid I have neglected my blog.

Also I have not participated in the Sunday Blog Hop for a while.  I'm determined to at least get back to doing this hop and trying to share more news and pictures with you.

This month's theme is
Heart and Home

One of the new Saleabration freeebies seemed perfect, it's stamp and die set and is free when yo spend £110 (easy to do with all the lovely new goodies that are available)

I paired it with this gorgeous set below, already a firm favourite and made appearance in a lot of my recent projects.

You can buy this stamp here

This is the card that I made.
I used white embossing powder to make the lovely heart image pop on the watercolour card.  I initially thought I would do some watercolouring, then ended up blending instead.  So if you have a go at this please feel free to use Basic White or Very Vanilla cardstock.  Glimmer paper frames the stamped image, then some DSP with a wood image is the background paper.

After heat embossing, I blended Coastal Cabana, Summer Splash, Poppy Parade and Real Red ink onto the card, then added some stamping.

Here is the tutorial of how I made this

FREE Downloadable Bible Verses "PEACE" and how I used them...

I recently wanted to create a project that could sit on a desk and have a variety of verses on it.  I created a document on Picmonkey, a graphics program I am subscribed to.  Printed it out onto Stampin' Up! Basic White card (the best card in the world in my humble opinion).

I then stamped it and cut it up to make my project.

The colours I used were
Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Coastal Cabana and Parakeet Party
The stamps used were
Sending Smiles, Two-Tone Floral, Stitchery, Quiet Meadow and Simply Fabulous

After I cut the card, I decided to add dottage with Tuxedo Black

Here is the finished project, ready to stand on a desk, with each page able to flick over to change the verse.

I used the FREE paper set that is available during Saleabration 2023.

To see how I stamped these have a look at this video

If you would like to have a go making this project please right click on the images below and save them to your computer, then print them on to card before stamping.  The verses areavailable in New International Version (NIV), King James Version (KJV) and English Standard Version (ESV)

Out of courtesy, please DO NOT share the files with others, if you have friends who would like them, please direct them to this blog post to download them.

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Beyond Basic

Hello there, thank you so much for joining me today, perhaps from Danielle's blog.

I decided to play with the Distressed Gold speciality papers 159237, some Copper Foil sheets and some gorgeously grungy papers called Texture Chic 158808

I created this 5 3/4 square card using diecuts from a few dies sets
Artistic 155371
Brilliant Wings 155523
and the wonderful Sunflowers 152704

The combination of the copper and gold just seems to work as luxurious details against the paper.

For my second project the Embossed Treat Bags 159251 came in handy.  They are helpful to make a quick gift bag.

I used some additional embellishments such as the
Adhesive - backed Seasonal Sequins  159964
Fine Sparkle gems 159967

And this season's must have... the Pearlized Enamel effects basics 156310

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Fun Fold Card

Hello and welcome to this Blog Hop, so pleased you could join me for this hop of Fun Folds... which I have inadvertently called Fancy Fold.

I had scoured Pinterest for some ideas, and had come across the idea of a "Cascade" card, this was worth the time to figure out and so much fun to make.

I used Soft Succulent and Fresh Freesia cardstock with Soft Succulent and Highland Heather ink to stamp images from Very Versailles (boohoo sorry to see it will be leaving the annual catalogue) and Dahlia Days.

I used the Detailed Dahlia Dies which match the stamp set to cut out the stamped larger flowers and some small flowers to decorate.

The  two smaller butterflies from the Brilliant Wings dies was perfect fo adding some more detail.  I cut them out using black cardstock then used Wink of Stella on them

For some extra detail I cut leaves using the Bough punch, and decorated the sprigs with pearls from Pastel Pearls.  The black and white gingham ribbon was doubled tied for some extra loops.

Here is the card from the side to see the dimension.

Thank you for  popping over, and please check out the other hoppers in the list below the video.

Here is how I put the card together (spot the mistake, I get my left and right muddled up!)

Here are the other hoppers, have fun looking at their wonderful projects.

{Stampin Sunday Blog Hop - Say Hello to...}

Hello, and a huge warm welcome to anyone joining via the blog hop.

There are so many gorgeous products to choose from in this year's January to June mini catalogue, and such a variety to suit all tastes.

Please remember to have a look at the other amazing stampers taking part in this hop, the list will be at the bottom of this post.

I decided to use the Grassy Grove bundle to show off, however confession time, I ended up using only the dies!

When I first saw them in the catalogue I fell in love with them, the detail is exceptional, and I love that they're great for creating masculine style projects.

For example here is a bag made from a 6" x 12" piece of card and the main die.

Behind the trees I have stuck a piece of vellum from the Layering Designs pack.

I used the vellum with the white map, it created a lovely soft background.

Here is the card made using lots of the other die.  There are trees, scenery and deer cut from white card stock and more of the vellum all layered up.

Thank you so much for taking a look, to see how I created these check out this video
