Delicate all white die cutting for a wedding card

Brrrrr! Winter is definitely here in mid-Wales, we had a very cold snap the other week, with a delicate frosting of snow.

Here is a seasonally apt card all in white.  I had seen cards like this on Pinterest and wanted to have a go myself.

It's a pop up card with a wreath of detailed leaves, all made possible by the wonder of the die cutting machine.  I love how these modern tools make it so easy to create such delightful effects.

Here are some closeups.

I used Glimmer paper to create the butterflies and daisies.

To see how I created the card have a look at this video

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Holiday Happenings

Hi there and thank you so much for popping to my blog today.  So dare I ask, how are you Holiday plans going? In the UK as we don't have Thanksgiving, my focus is more on Christmas.  The opportunity to get some holiday crafting done is very welcome.  I recently purchased a very large quantity of large brown paper bags.  I thought I could use them for customer orders AND for eco friendly gift wrapping for Christmas and Birthdays.

I love creating a pretty tag, and had so much fun creating these faux wood circle labels.

I used the Tree Rings dies (159888) with the embossing folder. But! before you rush and cut and emboss your tree rings, you need to do some stamping. Before that you also need to use the die with all the rings to draw the position of them, then stamp your images before cutting and embossing.  I love how the die is designed to sit inside the embossing folder.

The stamps used were from the Ringed with Nature set, which can be purchased with the dies and embossing folder for a 10% discount (159889)

The ink colours used where Pool Party, Balmy Blue and Real Red, and Crumb Cake card stock.

Thank you so much for poppin by, please take a look at the other hoppers work here

Christmas Stampathon October 2022 - Birds and Branches

Hi there, thank you for popping in.

Today I am so pleased to present my box in a card.  I'll explain some of the background.  For this months Christmas Stampathon challenge, the theme was
Birds and Branches
and to make 4 or more cards.

Head to the Facebook group {here} to take part

I had these lovely Open Leaf trinkets from the Mini catalogue and had been desperate to make some earrings using them.

I also had some bird charms that worked well with them.  I needed to make something to house them and be a card, so I spent a couple of hours figuring out some measurements and came up with these...

I decorated the front "card" with a die cut from the Aspen Tree Dies cut from some Rose Gold speciality paper.

The card stands as normal, but, it also has a surprise cavity on the inside

It has plenty of space for long earrings

Here is the video of how to make this

and here is a template showing how to create the box section

The dashed lines are the score lines, the solid lines are the cut lines

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Headstart on the Holidays

Hello and welcome stamping friends,
today we are getting a head start on the "holidays" with some Christmas themed crafting.

This lovely stamp set recently made it's way on to my desk as I was delighted with the pretty flowers and the delicate foliage.  It is called Vintage Christmas (159781) and the set pairs beautifully with Bottled Happiness (158684) from the main catalogue AND has a punch to match (Bundled saving 158690, Punch only 158689)

So here is my first play with it, and the projects I made...

I decided to stamp it on to Crumb Cake and used the following colours
White, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede, Garden Green and Old Olive.

After stamping the whole sheet I cut it up to decorate a couple of boxes and make 6 cards.

I used the Gold Pizza boxes that are in the clearance rack currently.

The stamped panels were mounted onto Real Red card and then onto a Very Vanilla card base.

Here is the video of how I created it

Please check out the gorgeous projects from the rest of the hoppers

--{Inspired by My Fair Lady - Floral cards}--

Hi there, we have been enjoying/enduring some hotter days here in the UK, and have recently got back from a holiday with family and friends.

While I was away I scheduled some videos on my YouTube channel, including one where I made these cards with Stampin' Up! products.

I made the black and white paper "ribbon" using the glimmer paper in the July to December 2022 mini catalogue.  Unfortunately I used a couple of embossing folders that have retired.  However we have plenty of others to choose from, and many designs would work on a card like this.

The initial idea was inspired by the dress Eliza Dolittle wears to the Ascot races in the film My Fair Lady.

The flowers were created by colouring punched out flowers with Stampin' Blend markers.

The purple flower was created using the ladybird punch multiple times.

Here is the video of how I made them...
