Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Current Products

Welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop

This month we are featuring current products in a couple of projects.

I've choosen to focus on these pretty papers 161139, and the retiring daisy punch 149517.

I wanted to show off the papers so designed a box bag and then decorated it using punch outs from the Daisy Punch and the Bough Punch 157711

It was so much fun to mix 3 ribbons together.
I used Pool Party Sheer ribbon 152462, White Seam Binding (sorry think it's sold out in Europe) and some retired Soft Sea Foam ribbon, I've finished the centres with 3 pearls.

Here is a square card using the two largest circles from the Stylish Shapes Dies 159183

I cut a couple of flowers out from the DSP and then created some daisies to add some extra detail.

The sentiment came from the Sending Smiles set 158701

Here is the video of how I made the projects

Thank you for being here, please have a look at the other beautiful projects here...

Delicate all white die cutting for a wedding card

Brrrrr! Winter is definitely here in mid-Wales, we had a very cold snap the other week, with a delicate frosting of snow.

Here is a seasonally apt card all in white.  I had seen cards like this on Pinterest and wanted to have a go myself.

It's a pop up card with a wreath of detailed leaves, all made possible by the wonder of the die cutting machine.  I love how these modern tools make it so easy to create such delightful effects.

Here are some closeups.

I used Glimmer paper to create the butterflies and daisies.

To see how I created the card have a look at this video

--{Inspired by My Fair Lady - Floral cards}--

Hi there, we have been enjoying/enduring some hotter days here in the UK, and have recently got back from a holiday with family and friends.

While I was away I scheduled some videos on my YouTube channel, including one where I made these cards with Stampin' Up! products.

I made the black and white paper "ribbon" using the glimmer paper in the July to December 2022 mini catalogue.  Unfortunately I used a couple of embossing folders that have retired.  However we have plenty of others to choose from, and many designs would work on a card like this.

The initial idea was inspired by the dress Eliza Dolittle wears to the Ascot races in the film My Fair Lady.

The flowers were created by colouring punched out flowers with Stampin' Blend markers.

The purple flower was created using the ladybird punch multiple times.

Here is the video of how I made them...

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - This with That

Hello there and welcome,
thank you for reading my blog today.  I am taking part in the

I am pleased to present a couple of cards using "This and That" basically some items I have had in my stash for a little while AND some new products.

I wonder if you can spot some the new ones.

Here is my first card... spot the new tree dies and others? I was so excited to have a go with them as I haven't had anything like these before.  The Aspen Tree dies cuts out the trees within an oval frame.  I decided to team a daisy with some new leaf die cuts in the foreground.

Behind the trees I ink blended and stamped with Petal Pink and Gray Granite.  The white moon was stamped with the small circle from Watercolour Shapes and Craft White Ink.

For my second card I had a good play with a couple of texture/dottage stamps and the branch stamp from the Perched in the Tree Stamp Set

Can you see the glorious texture on those leaves? I love them, such beautiful attention to design from Stampin' Up! The stamps and dies will be available from the 1st of July 2022

Here is the video of how I put the cards together...

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop SAB Farewell

Thank you for popping by to see my farewell to Saleabration project.
The fabulous Sara Levin asked us to use 2 Saleabration products to create a project.
You have today and tomorrow to get your orders in to qualify for the free Saleabration products.  To see what they are go {here}

I combined the
Sunshine and Rainbows paper (FREE with a £45 order) with the Friendly Hello Stamp Set (FREE with an order of £90)

I used the more neutral patterns from the Sunshine and Rainbows paper to use as a background and to cut flowers and strawberries to create this semi 3D card.

The leaf stamp from the Friendly Hello stamp set was perfect for creating a bit of a background using the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink

To create the flowers and fruit I used the Daisy punch, the small Daisy Punch and the Strawberry Builder punch and used tweezers and the end of my Tombow glue to shape the flowers, leaves and strawberries.  The Tuxedo black ink was great for brushing onto the edges of the paper pieces to create depth.

Here is a video of how I created it

{Glimmer paper Galore - sparkle alert!}

Crazily this was the first time I cut into this gorgeous balmy blue glimmer (mini catalogue) and the rainbow glimmer paper (annual catalohue)paper.  These cards were created as part of a UK wide video hop and the theme was Shimmer, Sparkle and Shine. To see my video scroll further down.

I wanted to show it off, and the idea of creating stripes came to me, as it was a great way to use it without using too much! Didn't want to use it all up in one go.

Using a variety of lead dies, I cut a selection from the rainbow paper.

The flower punches worked so well to create focal point flowers.

Below you watch a short video of me creating these cards...

{Paper Flower canvas - Paper Rose made from heart punchies}

It's been a few months since I've made an altered canvas.

I had the idea rumbling around in my head for a few days.  I'm sure like me you may have felt saddened by recent events around the world, and for me it has been a devastating reminder of the fragility of life, the brokenness of this world and how we need to be responsible for our thoughts and actions.

I wanted to create a piece that reflected my feelings and was also a therapeutic act to re connect me to my Creator.

Here is the result.
