{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - In Colours 2020 - 2022}

Welcome to my blog, today it's blog hop day!

Today we are focusing on the new In Colours.

They are Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight.

They are available in the ink pads, card stock, some embellishments and marker pens.

A lovely addition to the Stampin' Up! colour palette.

The colours are deep enough that when stamped 2nd, 3rd and even 4th generation the results are deeply satisfying.

Recently I have enjoyed stamping flower wreaths or garlands to create home decor pieces.

Here are some close ups, after laying down some testured stamps from Textured Essentials, I used stamps from All things Fabulous to "colour in" the images from Tasteful Touches and Jar of Flowers

As I was stamping the big wreath, I "stamped off" onto a piece of card atthe side of me and created a collage of images.  I then stamped flowers from All things Fabulous in Misty Moonlight to create this bright card.

{Paper Flower canvas - Paper Rose made from heart punchies}

It's been a few months since I've made an altered canvas.

I had the idea rumbling around in my head for a few days.  I'm sure like me you may have felt saddened by recent events around the world, and for me it has been a devastating reminder of the fragility of life, the brokenness of this world and how we need to be responsible for our thoughts and actions.

I wanted to create a piece that reflected my feelings and was also a therapeutic act to re connect me to my Creator.

Here is the result.

{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - New Product Preview 2020}

Hello there and welcome to the

I trust today finds you well and safe.

It has been my pleasure to get my hands on some of the new products that will be available form the 3rd June.  As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator I get to buy from a selection of products a month before they are widely available.

One of the exciting things with a new catalogue is seeing 5 new colours that will be added to our palette for the next 2 years.

Today I have used 3 of them along with a beautiful stamp set called Tasteful Touches and the accompanying dies.

I decided to make an explosion box and create my own paper to decorate it, the video tutorial is below.

Can you see the nest of gold the butterfly is sitting in?  That was made from some new gold thread coming soon.

Stampin' Up! have also provided some matching ribbon which is lovely and soft and great for making bows.

With the left over pieces I was able to make this card, the stamped panel was embossed with a new embossing folder called Tasteful Textile, it's really subtle and gives the card a canvas effect texture.

Here is the video of how I made the box and card.
