{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Plaid Tidings}

Hi there and welcome to the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop focus on Plaid Tidings.

It is a fabulous "all season" suite, with something for all year around.

I choose to focus on the papers and was really happy to discover how well they teamed up with the Flowers for all Seasons DSP.

As it's my sister's 40th birthday coming up, I decided to make her some decorative bunting to hang on her fireplace.  She loves decorating it according to the season.

I loved playing with the fussy cut flowers, some punched out flowers and leaves and combining them with the bold plaid patterns.

Here is how I made it

and here are the pictures of the card.

Please forgive me for using some non Stampin Up paper flowers and a retired die.

They just worked so well I couldn't resist using them

The Happy Birthday and flourish is is from the Well Written Dies and cut out in Champagne Gold card.  The circles were cut using the layering Circles dies and the Stitched Framelits.

Here are the links to the other fab hoppers, have a great day!

-{Jubilee Bunting}-

Hi all, sorry I have not got around to posting a video this last weekend.

I was away at a ladies conference in Swanwick in Derbyshire.  A few weeks ago a lady from church who is one of the organisers sidled up to me and asked if I would be willing to run a workshop.

The conference was attended by approximately 200 ladies who were their for fun and fellowship, spiritual and physical food and to enjoy the lovely surroundings of the conference centre.  As the "Word for Women" conference were celebrating their 50th anniversary they though it would be nice to make some bunting.

So, the ladies taking part were given 7 pennants, 7 white circles and 7 scalloped circles.  They could choose whatever word or phrase they wanted.  They all seemed to have a chilled and creative time... please comment below if you were there!

Please place any online orders using the following hostess code... QDYQKJBA and I will send all September shoppers a free gift in the post in October.

If your order comes to over £150, please don't use the code as you will earn 10% in Stampin' Up! rewards.
