{Ink, Spritz and Stamp One Sheet Wonder Wednesday}

So pleased when a plan comes together!
I was watching a video tutorial by Jennifer Mcguire and it inspired me to have a go with a ink and spritzing technique.

I made these first four cards one evening as I was fiddling around in my craft room.  I used the retiring stamp set Birthday Blooms for the large floral image.

I loved the results so much I decided I wanted to film the process for you.  This time I used the Rose from Rose Wonder and some other stamps from Butterfly Basics.

{Masking Technique with Fine Tip Glue Pen}

Wow! What a week - I'm still recovering from last weekend's excitement, and adjusting to the products that are retiring from the current catalogue.
What do you think of the new in colours?

These are some of the samples I made for the display at Onstage in Telford.  They feature a really simple technique, made easy by the use of the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  You can choose your favourite stamps to have a go.

Sweet Sugarplum

Dapper Denim

Emerald Envy

Flirty Flamingo

Peekaboo Peach

Here is a video explaining the process...

-{Jubilee Bunting}-

Hi all, sorry I have not got around to posting a video this last weekend.

I was away at a ladies conference in Swanwick in Derbyshire.  A few weeks ago a lady from church who is one of the organisers sidled up to me and asked if I would be willing to run a workshop.

The conference was attended by approximately 200 ladies who were their for fun and fellowship, spiritual and physical food and to enjoy the lovely surroundings of the conference centre.  As the "Word for Women" conference were celebrating their 50th anniversary they though it would be nice to make some bunting.

So, the ladies taking part were given 7 pennants, 7 white circles and 7 scalloped circles.  They could choose whatever word or phrase they wanted.  They all seemed to have a chilled and creative time... please comment below if you were there!

Please place any online orders using the following hostess code... QDYQKJBA and I will send all September shoppers a free gift in the post in October.

{Dove of Peace stamp - Grungy style}

Ok, so this card was a bit of an experiment, so instead of filming the making of it I've had to explain the steps. I love how it turned out, and it was fun raiding my stash of stamps to find patterns for the background, they included... Everything Eleanor, Perpetual Birthday Calendar, Butterfly Basics, Kinda Eclectic, Gorgeous Grunge and Dove of Peace

This stamp is so pretty and lovely to work with.  If you love spending some time colouring in, you'll love the detail on it.  It's available on wood mount and has a lovely Bible verse sentiment on it too, I have actually cut the sentiment and the dove apart and mounted just the dove so I can use the two elements separately.

I'm loving the new Fine Tip Glue Pen. It's great for adding a glossy accent to detailed stamps. It's going to be available from Sept 1st.

Please place any online orders using the following hostess code... 9KVJWGBY, and I will send all August shoppers a free gift in the post in September.

If your order comes to over £150, please don't use the code as you will earn 10% in Stampin' Up! rewards.

~{Butterfly Basics Masculine Card Tutorial}~

Hi there, writing this very late at night, to the sound of dripping from my loft onto a bucket on the landing!  Hence I am a bit behind on blog posting and prepping for a card buffet tomorrow!

Anyway, here is a video tutorial on the card above. The photo is actually of the one I made, smudges and all!!! Just keeping it real!

I showed some of my team how to make this card at our team meeting this week, and someone asked regarding the post mark stamp..."Where's that stamp from?", I replied "New York" to which they said "No, what stamp set is it from?!", lol oops!

This is another card using the large splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge

Ingredients:
Butterfly Basics and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.
Mossy Meadow, Hello Honey and Baked Brown Sugar
Very Vanilla and Naturals Ivory Card,
Tombow adhesive and  Stampin Trimmer.
