Using up those papers!

I'm as guilty as any other paper crafter for hoarding those beautiful papers and not getting round to using them... but no more!

I decided to get chopping and punching and sticking, and this is what I came up with.

The papers are from the Playful Palette DSP stack, which comes in a 6x6 format, perfect for card making, and for square cards which I am addicted to making at the moment!

I also filmed some of the process of YouTube live.

{Paper Flower Christmas Wreath}

More paper flowers! I guess it's my "thing" I love making them.  

Here is a video giving you some inspiration to make your own... it also features my daughter as she wanted to be in on the action too!

Some of the dies used are not available any more, sorry about that... however they may be found via auction sites or with a bit of tinkering you can use what you have already.

{Masking Technique with Fine Tip Glue Pen}

Wow! What a week - I'm still recovering from last weekend's excitement, and adjusting to the products that are retiring from the current catalogue.
What do you think of the new in colours?

These are some of the samples I made for the display at Onstage in Telford.  They feature a really simple technique, made easy by the use of the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  You can choose your favourite stamps to have a go.

Had the pleasure of making this for a friend of mine last week.

~{Petite Petals easel card}~

This was one of the cards we made at a recent workshop.

Sometimes in the Stampin' Up! catalogue we get a hidden gem of a product. Not noticed at first glance but when found it becomes something we can't live without. This is definitely the case with the chalk board marker pen. It's basically a white pen and is fabulous for doing little dotty accents like those on the card below.



I even used it like correction fluid on a drawing I did for my parents 40th wedding anniversary when I got the date wrong!  Used the SU marker pens too.

Another card using the Petite Petals stamps and punch. Teamed with the Gorgeous Grunge stamps to create an ethereal background.

~{Petite Petals Workshop}~

A big thank you to the ladies who joined me for the Petite Petals workshop today.  We made four gorgeous cards using a variety of techniques, and they got to take the stamps and punch home with them to play even more!
