Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Heart and Home

Well, a very Happy New Year to you crafty friend.

It has been a long while since I have blogged.  Although I have been creating, and teaching and being busy, I'm afraid I have neglected my blog.

Also I have not participated in the Sunday Blog Hop for a while.  I'm determined to at least get back to doing this hop and trying to share more news and pictures with you.

This month's theme is
Heart and Home

One of the new Saleabration freeebies seemed perfect, it's stamp and die set and is free when yo spend £110 (easy to do with all the lovely new goodies that are available)

I paired it with this gorgeous set below, already a firm favourite and made appearance in a lot of my recent projects.

You can buy this stamp here

This is the card that I made.
I used white embossing powder to make the lovely heart image pop on the watercolour card.  I initially thought I would do some watercolouring, then ended up blending instead.  So if you have a go at this please feel free to use Basic White or Very Vanilla cardstock.  Glimmer paper frames the stamped image, then some DSP with a wood image is the background paper.

After heat embossing, I blended Coastal Cabana, Summer Splash, Poppy Parade and Real Red ink onto the card, then added some stamping.

Here is the tutorial of how I made this

{Life is Beautiful birthday card}

Being a cardmaker it's only right and proper that my children get hand crafted cards for their birthdays.

This year I asked my daughter what she wanted on it, her request was cherry blossoms, pink and green.

Here is the result... so I had to add some extra bling and glitz.

I used the gorgeous tree image from Life is Beautiful, and the flowers from Framed for You.  The small flowers were punched out with the Confetti Flowers Border Punch
