{Stamping Florals and Geometricals on a One Sheet Wonder}

I've been having lots of fun over on YouTube doing what is called "lives".  It's been really fun getting to know viewers from all around the world as they're able to comment and ask questions as I stamp.  If you use YouTube please subscribe to my channel, and click the bell button to get notifications on your device of when I go "live".

Here is a long video of a process that took about an hour, I ended up stamping 3 sheets and making 8 cards from them.

 STAMPS USED: First Frost, Painted Glass, Lilypad Lake, Beautiful Friendship, Waterfront (splatters)
 COLOURS USED: Sea Side Spray, Purple Posy, Pretty Peacock, Blueberry Bushel, Granny Apple Green, Mint Macaron

If you haven't got time to watch the long version please watch the shorter version below.

Here are the cards I ended up making.

I thought you might like to see the full sheet before I cut it up.

My usual card size is A6, however because I wanted to show off this stamping I made 2 A5 cards.

Hope you enjoyed looking at these.  If you have been inspired by what you see and would like to share your creations with others then please join my Facebook group Artful Stampin Space here.

Don't forget, if you would like a copy of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue you can drop me a line and I'll pop one in the post to you.  If you can't wait that long, you can see it here.

{Alternative Joseph's coat technique with collage stamping}

More swap making for the upcoming Stampin' Up! get together in November.

Here is a technique that is very similar to the Joseph's coat technique that I have seen around, or otherwise known as an emboss resist.

It's a great way to create a background that can be used fo multiple card making.

Enjoy the video!

{Painted Glass Easel Card}

Hi there, thank you for popping in on my blog today.
This post is jam packed with new goodies and techniques.
It focuses particularly on the Painted glass stamp set and Stained Glass thinlet dies.

When I have a new stamp set and die on my craft table, I like to play with it lots to get to know what it can do and also to show you the potential of it.
 The cards below are fairly simple in design, but have lots of texture and detail.

Here I have layered circles and the stained glass shapes to create a focal point around the coloured in butterfly.

I used the Stampin' Blends markers, which incidentally are back in stock!
The dies from this set cut such delicate designs and create the perfect background to these butterflies.

Using the embossing mats to create texture is such a fun and simple technique.

The stained glass image is just perfect for colouring in.  It was so relaxing.

And here is a pretty easel card to how off the design

Enjoy the video as I go into more detail of how I made the cards.

{Golden Anniversary Card}

Had to make a card for a couple celebrating their 50th Anniversary.  Usually I would have used the number dies, however because this new paper is so pretty I didn't want to cover it up too much.

It's from the Garden Impressions paper stack from the beautiful Suite of the same name.

Here is the card

Below is a video of the process, after I finished filming I realised I had forgotten to use the small green leaves I had cut out, so the picture above were taken after I had added those on.
