{Painted Glass Easel Card}

Hi there, thank you for popping in on my blog today.
This post is jam packed with new goodies and techniques.
It focuses particularly on the Painted glass stamp set and Stained Glass thinlet dies.

When I have a new stamp set and die on my craft table, I like to play with it lots to get to know what it can do and also to show you the potential of it.
 The cards below are fairly simple in design, but have lots of texture and detail.

Here I have layered circles and the stained glass shapes to create a focal point around the coloured in butterfly.

I used the Stampin' Blends markers, which incidentally are back in stock!
The dies from this set cut such delicate designs and create the perfect background to these butterflies.

Using the embossing mats to create texture is such a fun and simple technique.

The stained glass image is just perfect for colouring in.  It was so relaxing.

And here is a pretty easel card to how off the design

Enjoy the video as I go into more detail of how I made the cards.
