Weekend Ramble...

For those of you who are new to my blog I just wanted to explain what my ramble is all about.  On my YouTube Channel I put all sorts of tutorials, overtime people who follow me said they like to hear me talk about what I've been up to in my life.  I didn't want to do that in all my videos so my weekend ramble is exactly that... a ramble.  So if you would prefer not to hear me witter on please feel free not to watch it, here is the card I made during the ramble.

-{Paper Flower Pen Tutorial}-

Managed to film this last night, it's been on my to do list for ages!

I've loved making these for gifts, swaps and promotional items.  They always get a "wow" from the person receiving them.  

I gave a bunch to my son's teacher a couple of years ago...you may remember them.

Pink Baby

I was commissioned to make a baby girl card, my friend had seen the sample card on page 42 of the current Idea Book and Catalogue,  here is what I came up with...

Girly letters...

... for a beautiful baby.

I ordered some wooden letters, and covered them with a new collection called "Delicate Doilies" (available from the 1st October.  The sides of the letters were inked, and then I stuck some paper doilies from the same collection and some extra twiddly bits in the centres.

Goodbye Baby...

...Blossoms that is.  The beautiful stamp set baby Blossoms is retiring along with any stamps that are in the mini catalogue that have not made it through to next years catty.

You get a lot of stamps for your money, and with careful use with a Stampamajig you can create infinite different backgrounds.

I used the leaves and the little flowers stamp on the card below.

There's a sneak peek of a new punch coming out on the card too.  It's a gorgeous lace punch available from the 1st October.
