~{It's a Princess}~

To celebrate the arrival of a Royal Princess, here is a little card...

Here is the video of how I made it.  Please contact me if you have any questions about the products I have used.

There are lots of reduced items in the retirement, clearance and weekly deal sections in my shop.

Please place any online orders using the following hostess code... Q4TBFKAN, and I will send all May shoppers a free gift in the post in May.

If your order comes to over £150, please don't use the code as you will earn £25 in Stampin' Up! goody benefits.  It may also be worth you thinking about becoming a demonstrator yourself for £99, as you can choose £130 of product, and get to see the new catalogue early!

Please, please, please do NOT tick the no contact box, as I'll have no way of contacting you. Happy bargain hunting!

-{Wreath Class}-

Made this with a piece of fabric from the Beau Chateau range, some hand made roses, ribbon and other bits and bobs.

I'm planning to do a class where you could make one of these.
There are only 5 4 3 2  1 place left, just realised I only have 4 wreaths, there is still 2 choices of fabric though.
It will be at my house on
Saturday 21st April
10am

The cost will be £12 and include the cost of all the materials needed.

Below are the five fabric options for the ring.  As I only have these pieces of fabric available I will give first, second etc preference of choice to whoever books first, second etc.

Update: From Left to right, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fabric choices are now gone.

I will also teach you how to make other flowers, so you have other options for how your wreath looks.  Please contact me asap to book a place.

-{fresh vintage love}-

I was thinking the other day, if someone wanted to start making some cards on a limited budget, what would I suggest?

So, I set myself a task, make some cards with no more than 2 stamp sets, one ink pad, and a couple of different coloured cardstock.

Here is what I made using the (in my humble opinion) absolutely luscious set from the Saleabration catalogue.  The set of 5 stamps is FREE with any purchase over £45 (not including postage).

Ok, so this one has 3 different colours of card, but it could easily have been just 2.
I was inspired to do the border design along the top from a card my SU grandma Monica Gale made, see it >here<.

I masked off a square and experimented with creating lighter effects by stamping onto a scrap of paper before applying to my card.

I'm loving using Naturals Ivory as a card base at the moment, not just because it creates a neutral background but it's also a bargain at £6.25 for 40 sheets - that's less than 8p a card (C6 size)

Goodbye Baby...

...Blossoms that is.  The beautiful stamp set baby Blossoms is retiring along with any stamps that are in the mini catalogue that have not made it through to next years catty.

You get a lot of stamps for your money, and with careful use with a Stampamajig you can create infinite different backgrounds.
I used the leaves and the little flowers stamp on the card below.

There's a sneak peek of a new punch coming out on the card too.  It's a gorgeous lace punch available from the 1st October.

Butterflies and bargains!

Tried out the inking onto the embossing folder technique on the two outer butterflies,  The effect adds great texture and depth.  I know it's a bit early for Mother's Day, the sentiment just seemed  to fit the card!

Just had to share another bargain retiring set!
This set is now £18.57, a massive 40% saving of £12.38

Take advantage of the fab sale items,
and to help you along I'm offering
FREE postage on orders over £50
offer ends 30th Sept 2011

Anniversary card and retiring items...

Had some time to play last night after I finished the preparation for a birthday Crafty Party.  Used the stamps from the retiring (boohoo) Hostess Set Punch Potpourri and Something to Celebrate.

It's been an exciting and traumatic week for Stampin Up hostesses in the UK as they've revealed which stamp sets and other items are retiring.  This basically means that on the 1st October they will no longer be available and a new idea book and catalogue will be in operation. Now that's the fun part, we've already had a sneak preview of the new catalogue, and although we're sad to see some favourites go, we're really excited to be able to share some lovely new products with you.

As usual, the quality is second to none, the colour co ordination is impeccable and the attention to detail is beautiful.  I am awaiting delivery of some new products to play with and show you.

Before that, just wanted to encourage you to look at the retiring list HERE, and a few of the items going AND that are reduced!  Please contact me ASAP to place an order, as these items can sell out fast!
