Goodbye Baby...

...Blossoms that is.  The beautiful stamp set baby Blossoms is retiring along with any stamps that are in the mini catalogue that have not made it through to next years catty.

You get a lot of stamps for your money, and with careful use with a Stampamajig you can create infinite different backgrounds.
I used the leaves and the little flowers stamp on the card below.

There's a sneak peek of a new punch coming out on the card too.  It's a gorgeous lace punch available from the 1st October.

Crafty Party Time!

Last Saturday I did my first Crafty Party for a young lady turning 8.  She had 8 other guests and we made 3 items, a keyring, a bracelet and a notebook.

The girls were lovely and worked really hard on their creations,

Here is a picture of their notebooks and bracelets, a huge thanks to mummy "L" for sending it to me!  Look at all those yummy Stampin' Up! colours!

Please get in touch if you would like me to run a Crafty Party for your child's birthday.

Floral Birthday

Gave this card to my friend today, so I can put it on here! I love making a sheet of my own "patterned paper" and then using it in different ways to create different cards.

This is what happens when...

...you leave your 20 month daughter unattended for a few minutes with the Regal Rose ink pad and a make up sponge! At least it matches her dress!

It's arrived and I've played!

My lovely Starter Kit arrived on Tuesday, I just had to capture the moment, so here are some pictures...

I swapped some of the recommended stamp sets for ones that I thought would be more useful for me, and also choose some different coloured ink pads.  The kit is fantastic value for money even if you wanted to save money on some crafty goodies.  Click here for more info on how to get it.

Initial thoughts about some of the products.

My first reaction to the Very Vanilla card stock was that it is to light weight for making a card base.  After a discussion with my fab upline Claire, she explained that the Very Vanilla and Whisper White card was for stamping on and then sticking onto the coloured card. I have to admit the stamped images on that card looks superb.  Apparently if you like to colour with Copics the colours do not bleed as they sometimes do with other card.

Here is one of the card's we'll be making at classes this month
