{Luxury 60th Birthday Card}

One of the lovely things about being a card maker is that when special people in your life have special birthdays you can pull out all the stop and make them something really lovely.

This was for a sweet friend of mine who I have known since I moved to Welshpool (20 years).  She loves creating too, so it had to be a good one!

I used one of my favourite colour combinations... pink and green. It always makes me smile.  Add a bit of gold glimmer and instant luxury.

Here is the full length video and a shorter sped up version of how I made it.

-{Summer Mini Blog Hop ILWS}-

Hi there, welcome to my blog, you may have got here via Amanda's Gorgeous Blog.
I've taken part in a Blog Hop, organised on the fab forum In Love With Stamping.  If you would like to start at the beginning of the hop click {here} to go to Alison's blog.

All the blog's on this hop should be featuring the lovely new goodies in the Summer Mini catalogue.  (Please contact me if you would like a copy).

As a demonstrator we can get our hands on the new products a full month before anyone else, here is what I have made with the beautiful Attic Boutique Designer Series Papers.  Do you also see the pleated Ribbon? That's a new addition too!

I made a card holder inspired by the one Heather made {here}.  I changed the dimensions so it would hold C6 size envelopes.

Here it is opened up.

Here are the four cards that fit inside.

Do you spy something new below? It's Baker's Twine, I am so pleased Stampin Up have decided to stock this, it is so trendy at the moment and so pretty on cards.  It comes in all the 2011-2013 In Colours, and a White.  It's also at a bargain price of £2.50 for 22.9 metres.

Thank you for visiting today, click {here} to hop to Jan's blog.

NOEL - Christmas Decor

Yes, it will soon be that time of year!
I've already seen some Christmas decorations hanging up in a supermarket.

Thought it would be nice to decorate some letters with Stampin' Up! paper and accessories.  They measure 5 inches tall and would look great propped on a mantelpiece.

If you would like to do a class where we make these - there will be another designer paper options like the nostalgic Holly Berry Bouquet...

and Flirtatious

and Cheerful Treat

We will also make a card to match

If you would like to do a set of letters please book a place ASAP, as I need to order the letters in.

The cost of the class is £14 and will include the materials and 4 wooden letters.

You can order additional letters if you would like to continue making them at home, they cost £1.50 each.
