Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Paper Party

Welcome!
Thank you for popping to my blog, the focus this month is on paper.
Now I know a few of us have plenty of paper that we like to stroke and keep for that special project.

I have used the gorgeous Hand Penned DSP

Here is a card design that helps to use some up.

The base measures 11 5/8" by 6 1/8" and scored at 3 7/8" and 7 6/8"
The panels of paper measure 3 3/4" by 6".

I used quite a few different dies to create the embellishments to decorate the card.

For some of the decorations on the card I fussy cut flowers from the paper.

I used some of the scraps to create this box

Here is a video of my process...

Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Fauna

It's always a delight to welcome you to another Stampin Sunday Blog with amazing artists from around the world

This month's focus is on
F A U N A
and I decided to try and use as many different dragonflies I could find.

I stamped some from the Dragonfly Garden suite, and cut some out from the matching papers.

I also stamped the dragonfly twice from the Suite Sampler Host set onto Purple Posy Card and cut it out.  By cutting off a couple of wings and using some dimensionals it made it 3D.

The dragonflies just popped on a background of Granny Apple Green leaves and Petal Pink flowers, with an accent of the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive reversible ribbon (it literally is the colour of dragonflies).

I used the Pierced Blooms Dies and the Lacy Petals Dies

To create added contrast I used a striped pattern from the True Love Designer Series Paper, so versatile and classy.

Using one of the 7.9 x 7.9cm acetate boxes, I then created a belly band and a decorative piece with more leaves, flowers and dragonflies.  I love how all these Stampin' Up! products co-ordinate so beautifully.

Here is a short video of how these projects were put together
