It's always a delight to welcome you to another Stampin Sunday Blog with amazing artists from around the world
This month's focus is on
F A U N A
and I decided to try and use as many different dragonflies I could find.
I stamped some from the Dragonfly Garden suite, and cut some out from the matching papers.
I also stamped the dragonfly twice from the Suite Sampler Host set onto Purple Posy Card and cut it out. By cutting off a couple of wings and using some dimensionals it made it 3D.
The dragonflies just popped on a background of Granny Apple Green leaves and Petal Pink flowers, with an accent of the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive reversible ribbon (it literally is the colour of dragonflies).
I used the Pierced Blooms Dies and the Lacy Petals Dies
To create added contrast I used a striped pattern from the True Love Designer Series Paper, so versatile and classy.
Using one of the 7.9 x 7.9cm acetate boxes, I then created a belly band and a decorative piece with more leaves, flowers and dragonflies. I love how all these Stampin' Up! products co-ordinate so beautifully.
Here is a short video of how these projects were put together
