{More In Colour 2016-2018 creations}

When I was sent "the" box of goodies from Stampin' Up to make the samples for Onstage, I have to confess I felt both overwhelmed and underwhelmed... if that makes sense.  It was nerve wracking playing with the new colours, initially I explored how they looked with our current colours, however after being told that I needed to focus on the new ones I approached my task with renewed vigour.

I returned to my love of 3D florals, fauna and butterflies, and tried to show off each colour in a different way, using various textures through stamping and shaping the card.

Here are more detailed photos and a video explaining how I created each card.

{Wedding Inspiration}

Had great fun yesterday helping some brides design and create their wedding stationary, favours and wedding flowers.

Here are some items I made to inspire them... Paper cones filled with sweets, invitations and decorative pegs.

Have a fab weekend!

-{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday}- Week 14 Butterfly box

Today's OSWW features how to make a custom inkpad, and the imperial measurements to make the triangle box.  I have used Kinda Eclectic, Papillion Potpourri and Gorgeous Grunge.

I realised after I had made the video I should have given simpler measurements, so here they are if you would like them...

Cut the paper into a 7" x 10.5" rectangle, score down length ways at 3.25"
After stamping, cut the rectangle into three at 3.25"
Mark the middle of the rectangle at top and bottom, then score the triangle as shown in the video.
Hope that makes sense, please contact me if you need further clarification.

Here is an extra video showing what else you can make...

Please place any online orders using the following hostess code... 9KVJWGBY, and I will send all August shoppers a free gift in the post in September.

If your order comes to over £150, please don't use the code as you will earn 10% in Stampin' Up! rewards.

-{Crafty Gift idea}-

So, because I've been trying to work smarter and not harder recently, when an idea came to me this week I thought I'd film it...

...what I didn't realise is that my nails look AWFUL!!!  Please ignore them, I'll try and paint them up especially for next week's video!

Well, my idea was to make a crafty gift or prize at a party.  To give the recipient a little taster pot of goodies that they could create some little cards at home.

The end result is not as polished I would normally present, however the thought behind it is to give you some inspiration.  I did use what you see in the video, but jazzed it up with some ribbon and popped something extra in the box too.

I completely forgot to take a photo, so here is a picture of a recent make and take.

To order current Stampin' Up! products go to my online {shop} open 24/7.
For every £45 spent you can choose a free gift from the Saleabration brochure, and if you spend over £150 you get hostess credit starting at £25.

-{Card commission}-

A little update: my Stampin' Up! store is offline whilst some tweaks are being made.  Please contact me directly should you wish to place an order.  Also there's only a week left to get £155 of product for £99 by joining Stampiin' Up!  You're welcome to do this even if you just want more stash for your cash, there are lot's of "hobby demo's" who join to save some pennies.

A friend of mine who regularly commissions me to make her special cards, rang the other week wanting one for her course tutor.  She left the design up to me.  I was leafing through some paper stash, and the Fan Fair papers with the keys on it took my fancy, and I thought up the sentiment "Thank you for being the key to our education".  This I printed with my computer and decorated the inside with.  I stamped the script stamp from French Foilage with White Craft ink onto Midnight Muse card stock, and distressed the edges with the fabulous distress tool in the Spring/Summer mini (don't miss it on page 14)

Here is the card, it was fairly large, approx A5.
