{Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Tags in a Box}

Hi there, I'm Ruth from Artful Stampin and welcome to another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop.

My apologies for not making last month's hop, October seemed to just run away with me.  We're planning to move house soon so there has been lots of decluttering, sorting and clearing to do.

So the theme this month is to make some tags, either with a box or 3 different ways.  I opted for the box as I'm trying to get better at box making.

Here is the box with my set of tags

This is the lid of the box which I stamped with the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and then decorated with some die cuts from the matching set of dies.

Here is a quick tutorial showing how I made these

To make the box base cut card 8 3/4 x 5 1/2 inches and score 1 inch all the way around.
To make the lid cut card 8 1/4 by 5 inches and score just under 3/4 inches all the way around.
The inside divider was made by cutting card 3 1/2 inches by 8 1/4.

  1. Loving your slightly non-traditional color combo for your tags. And the clean design on your gift box makes a beautiful presentation.

  2. Your tags are gorgeous Ruth!I love the colour combos! I don't own the Poinsettia bundle...but now wished that I did!!

  3. Ruth! These are beautiful! You totally inspired me to use the little embossed poinsettia today!
