{Sponged Birthday Blooms}

A couple of weeks ago I ran a class for children.  i introduced them to the idea of using a colour wheel, then set them challenges through out the class to use different combinations.  Here is the card I made with them to show what choosing 3 opposite colours would look like.

{Weekend Ramble}

Weekend Ramble...

For those of you who are new to my blog I just wanted to explain what my ramble is all about.  On my YouTube Channel I put all sorts of tutorials, overtime people who follow me said they like to hear me talk about what I've been up to in my life.  I didn't want to do that in all my videos so my weekend ramble is exactly that... a ramble.  So if you would prefer not to hear me witter on please feel free not to watch it, here is the card I made during the ramble.

{A field of flowers}

So pleased how this card turned out, and I've really enjoyed showing people how simple this technique is.  

Using three colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel, use the sponges to create bands of colour on Whisper White Card.  

Heat emboss the floral images with black embossing powder.

With a wet paint brush pick up some white ink from the Craft White inkpad and colour in some of the floral and leaf images.
