{Long time no blog...More Christmas inspiration}

Mahoosive apologies for not blogging lately!
I've been busy with back to school days and getting back into routine.  I'm afraid that hasn't included blogging and social media routine.

There have been a few bits of news since I last blogged, the Autumn/Winter catalogue is now live and we're starting say the C word a bit more as we're thinking of cards and decor for the upcoming season.  I've been planning a fabulous project using Project Life not just to create a memory album, but an advent hanging that you could put small gifts in, and some cards using the new PL cards. Watch this space!  However in the mean time, here is a video of some cards I have made using the PL cards...super duper easy!

{Not just Project Life and Scrapbooking}

What am I talking about? This accessory kit...

It is designed to co ordinate beautifully with these gorgeous cards, incidentally the original design was hand painted by a fabulous designer at Stampin' Up!

I've been playing with the elements from the kit and came up with this card.

Here is the tutorial.

Orders are still being taken for a Paper Share, a great way to purchase a sheet of ALL the papers in the new catalogue! Click on the picture below for more info.

Hi everyone,
hope you're enjoying the summer holidays.
We've been away so here is a little ramble to say hi and show you a new kit.  I've been having a play with it and am going to be sharing a few more inspiring projects with you.

Here is another card made with the same kit.

~{Spring colours layout}~

Ok, so I've been a busy bunny!  I've had even more of a play with the Pocket Scrapbooking, preparing myself for the launch of Project Life into the Stampin' Up! repertoire.

The leaves were punched out with non SU! punches, however the leaf on the Bird Builder punch could be used instead.

Here is a list of all the products I used, if you click on the pictures it will take you directly to my online shop.

The ink pads I used were: Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose (retired) and So Saffron.

~{Project Life kit masculine colours}~

I've been playing with Stampin' Up! papers, card-stock and punchies to create kits that people who are into Pocket Scrapbooking and Project Life would enjoy.  SU make it so easy to co-ordinate colours.  All the Designer Series Papers they list in their catalogue has a list of all the colours they use, this makes it so simple to co-ordinate card, in and embellishments.

I have 3 of these kits up for grabs, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Paypal button to order and pay.  The other way to get your hands on one of these for FREE is to place a Stampin' Up! order for £40 (excluding postage).  When you have completed check out, please contact me and if I have one in stock I'll send it to you! {Shop here}

Ingredients:
5 - 4x6 cards/papers
16 - 3x4 cards/papers
28 punched pieces
1 metre of brown/white bakers twine
Price: £3.75 (includes postage)

Your kit may vary slightly as the papers have been cut from a 12x12 image.

This is the reverse to the papers - a feminine option!

I'd love to have feedback on these and to see what you create using this kit.

~{Excited! Stampin' Up! and Project Life}~

WOW!!!
Having spent the last week researching Project Life and the pocket scrapbooking aproach to memory keeping, I was bowled over to hear the news that Stampin' Up! and Project Life have teamed up to bring us some fantastic products.

For those of you who have no idea what I am on about I will try and explain it in a few sentences. Traditional scrapbooking usually involves decorating a full sheet of card whether it's 12x12", 8x8" or 6x6".  With the pocket style of scrapbooking all you have to do is fill an already divided page protector with your photo's, pre-printed cards or papers you have cut to size. You can embellish and write your memories on the cards as much or as little as you want.  a minimum amount of tools is required, and from listening to people who already do it they say it saves a lot of time.

One of the big names in this approach is Becky Higgins and she has created a range called Project Life, there are albums, pockets, cards, pens and punches already out there.  But the fabulous news is that she has worked with Stampin' Up! to create a unique range of products that fit into Stampin' Up!s existing colour palette.

The new range will be available in our new catalogues from the 1st of July, however some sneak previews and opportunities to purchase items before then have been promised.

Of course if you sign up to be a demonstrator you will get information and products before everyone else.  Please feel free to contact me for a no pressure chat about becoming a demonstrator.  Or click {here} for more info.

I've already been having a play with some Project Life pockets a friend kindly sent to me, used the Retro Fresh papers and various punches and stamps.
