I received a lovely swap from Julie Harden at Onstage in April.  It totally inspired me!

It can be adapted to any size or shape of card, and I love how it can make an ordinary card look extraordinary.

{Springtime Foils meets Cake Soiree}

Used this simple technique to jazz up the spotty Spring Time foils DSP that is FREE with a £45 purchase.

Here is the video tutorial showing you how to make the card above.

I used the rest of the card I had stamped to make the cards below.  I cut various flowers and leaves using the Sweet Cake framelits dies and arranged them prettily on the card.  I also used the fine tip glue pen to try and strategically place some of the gold flakes.  They're a really fun alternative to glitter.

#TGIFC137 It's a SQUARE Sketch Challenge

Decided to join in the TGIF challenge this week.

The sketch they provided was this one, and you get extra brownie points for making a square card.  Oops, didn't read that bit till after I had made mine!

We've had a few snowy days at home with the children very happily off school as they were closed.  So I had chance to play with some of the new products coming out in January.

This beautiful cake image is from a stamp set called Cake Soiree.  I coloured it in with the Stampin' Blends.  The cake stand and leaves are from a coordinating die set.  The green and silver stripey paper are from the papers that match this suite.  There are some gorgeous florals with metalics.
