{How to make a 3D Nest card with Stampin' Up! set Flying Home}

I've been getting quite obsessed with watching videos on YouTube that feature technique known as "mixed media".  It basically means to use a variety of different mediums on your art work rather than sticking to one.  The style is also a little bit looser and "messy", and an understanding that beautiful things can be created by deliberate "accident" when using techniques such as spritzing.

It has helped me to re look at some of  the Stampin' Up! products and think of different ways they can be used.

Athough the card below isn't strictly mixed media, it certainly has been inspired by watching people using threads and sisal in their work to create a frothy effect.  The Ready Shreddie was just perfect for creating the result I wanted to carry the theme of the nest.

Here is the video tutorial, in it I refer to another video where I am colouring, unfortunately I seem to have deleted by mistake, however if you would like to see a video where I colour in, please look at this blog post {here}
