Stamped Spring Wreath using Two-Toned Flora

I had so much fun stamping this wreath, especially as there are some colours that are returning in the upcoming colour refresh.  It was stamped on to 12x12 basic white card.

This tends to happen every few years, where Stampin' Up! shake up their core colours.  They get rid of some, welcome some new ones back and say hello to some new ones.

In the list below I have put and R next to returning colours, and an N next to brand new ones.

INK COLOURS
R Fresh Freesia 155611
N Bubble Bath 161664
Highland Heather 147103
Balmy Blue 147105
R Lost Lagoon 161678
Mossy Meadow 147111
Granny Apple Green 147095
Soft Sea Foam 147102
R Lemon Lime Twist 147145
N Lemon Lolly 161666

As the day of the new catalogue looms closer we are saying goodbye to some stamp sets, to check out what is going please pop to the online shop and look up the specials and last chance items.

Here are some close ups of the wreath

Here is an optional way to cut the 12 x 12 stamped image to make cards.

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Stampin Up Touches of Texture}

Hi there, welcome to my blog, sorry I didn't get round to doing a one sheet wonder last week.

This week, as I had the stamps and inks out I decided to do two.

I've used the fabulous Touches of Texture stamp set, it has lots of beautiful images.

I limited my palette to Greens and Yellow and used
Tranquil Tide
Garden Green
Lemon Lime Twist
Pineapple Punch

Although I have made bookmarks from these, they could be cut in a different way to make card fronts or a scrapbook layout.

{One Sheet Wonder - Lovely Lattice and Incredible Like You}

Happy Wednesday!  It comes round so quickly... can you tell I love using this technique?

I love combining stamps that you may not often think of putting together.

This time I choose a Saleabration set called Lovely Lattice, it has some very detailed floral images that our perfect for colouring in.  However... I sometimes like to experiment and see if I can faux colour in with other stamps, I choose to pair it with another floral stamp set called Incredible Like You, here are the results and process.

These are the colours I used:
Lemon Lime Twist
Mint Macaron
Melon Mambo
Flirty Flamingo,

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Abstract Impressions meets Playful Backgrounds}

Hi there, hope you're having a good day.
Today's One Sheet Wonder is a nod to those last days of summer.  As we head into Autumn, the temperatures are dropping here in mid Wales, however we are still enjoying some sunny days, long may they continue!

Here I have combined two photopolymer stamp sets.
Abstract Impressions and Playful Backgrounds, and the colours I have used are
Lemon Lime Twist
Petal Pink
Grapefruit Grove and
Pumpkin Pie

{Golden Anniversary Card}

Had to make a card for a couple celebrating their 50th Anniversary.  Usually I would have used the number dies, however because this new paper is so pretty I didn't want to cover it up too much.

It's from the Garden Impressions paper stack from the beautiful Suite of the same name.

Here is the card

Below is a video of the process, after I finished filming I realised I had forgotten to use the small green leaves I had cut out, so the picture above were taken after I had added those on.

New catalogue...new colours!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...
No... it's not Christmas, well it may as well be for me as I love colour and this is the time of year I get to introduce to you and play with 5 new colours to the Stampin' Up! palette.
Every year they introduce 5, and they are with us for 2 years, so although I'm mourning the loss of Mint Macaron, these 5 new beauties are keeping me VERY happy.

If you would like to look at the new catalogue that will be going live on June 1st, please contact me and I'll send one out to you asap!

So without further ado, they are
...Fresh Fig...
...Berry Burst...
...Powder Pink...
...Lemon Lime Twist...
...Tranquil Tide...

To accompany the new inks, pens and cardstock there is a beautiful in colour paper stack.  Here is a card using all 5 of the colours.
