-{scrap inspiration}-

Yes, I've been tidying - again!
I've started making products to sell on Christmas stalls, so have needed to clear my work space.  As usual I end up with lots of pots of tidbits of things I have worked with or have left over from previous projects or experiments.

AS I wasn't creating for a workshop I dug out some of my favourite retired stamps and made a few cards.

The daisy shaped clay flower was made using a cake decorating tool that cuts icing.

A left over mini art work I made to go into a necklace.

Below is a sneak peek of a new embossing folder out next month.

Thank you for stopping by.  Watch this space for some announcements about some new workshops I'll be doing soon!

-{Venetian Romance}-

Is the name of the beautiful Designer Series Paper I have used for the gift bag and card below.
If you like elegant design with a hint of the shabby and the insides of old book covers then these papers are for you.  As with all Stampin Up paper, the thickness is sturdy enough to make items such as gift bags, and being double sided you have lots of choice of patterns.

It was my Mother in law's birthday last month and I had bought a mother of pearl necklace for her a few months ago.  I wanted the packaging to be a little bit special. So this is what I made...

-{Prettily Penned}-

I have to confess that in my crafting life I have various little obsessions for making particular things.
I have enjoyed making paper flowers for a long time now, and am always looking for ways to use them, mainly on cards, wreaths. bunting, and now...pens!

Below are pictures of a `paper pen' bouquet made for my son's teacher.  I used the beautifully elegant Venetian Romance Designer Series Paper.  Then tied around the pen, just under the flower some Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon and Linen Thread.  The flowers were then finished with some diamante `dew drops'.
