Stampin Sunday Blog Hop - Peaceful Poppies Suite

Welcome to this week's Stampin Sunday Blog Hop.  We are featuring products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite.  It has already proved popular amongst demonstrators and customers, and I have found the Painted Poppies stamps to be really easy to use, especially loving the splatters.

I created 2 sheets of one sheet wonders.  The first I used to create this bag.

The other sheet was used to make these cards, the first one would be easy to make by a beginner crafter. It shows off  the stamping and has a minimal amount of extra embellishments, I particularly liked these as they were FREE, during Saleabration this lovely pack of embellishments can be yours after a qualifying purchase.

Using the die set, the stamped poppies can be cut out, and other shapes can be cut to embellish your card.  Do you spot the leaf wth the white detail?  That leaf is actually from the Peaceful Poppies Elements kit, it's perfect for people who don't have a die cutting machine as there are lots of precut elements that can be popped out.  Some are white embossing on watercolour paper and can be coloured.  The leaf below was inked with Blackberry Bliss to match the cardstock,

This card shows off a few more of the flowers from the elements kit.

Here is a video of my process

Enjoy!

Sailing Home Birthday card

Belated Happy New Year!
I've just realised this is my first post of 2020!  I was ill just before Christmas, and I feel like I'm still playing catch up, my Christmas tree is still up as I wanted to enjoy it for a little longer.

Lot's has happened in Stampin' Up! world.  There is a new Mini catalogue that will take us through to June, and of course, the fabulous Saleabration period is upon us, where FREE product can be earned with qualifying orders.

Here are the link to my online store where the new goodies can be viewed HERE

not just yet though as I want to show you a card I made for my husband's birthday... a little while back, while I was making it I made a couple of others.  I find it easier to make a few cards when I have certain supplies out.

It was created using a combination of stamps and ink blending techniques.
I'm discovering masking images can be so effective in defining images.  It was easy to stamp the lighthouse on to a sticky note then cut it out.  TOP TIP cut just inside the outer line.

Here are the other 2 cards using the same supplies

This is the sped up version of the video
