Claire's Colour Challenge...

on In love with Stamping, was to use Cajun Craze, Marina Mist and Crumb Cake.

I actually made this card last week before going to London, I had the great intention of photographing while I was down their and uploading it, we have already been back from London for three days and I've just got round to it!

I used my blender pen to wipe off the Cajun Craze from the stamp, then coloured in the Marina Mist before huffing and stamping.

Winter reflections...

Saw this technique done on some cards and thought I'd have a go.  It's so easy to get that "reflection" effect.  Just stamp onto a piece of clear plastic (recycled packaging is perfect), turn it over and align your image at the bottom of the image on your card, then press it down.

More Christmas Joy

Welcome Christmas...

...in August! I know a lot of Stampin' Up! demonstrators are way ahead of me and already held Christmas in July events.  I'm afraid I wasn't that organised, however I have made a start.  Here are some cards using the beautiful and nostalgic Welcome Christmas set.

My current favourite way to add the special finish to a card is the pearls and crystals, they are a great quality.  The only things I have to be careful of is that they don't ping off the backing paper into oblivion when I try to get them off!
