I loved the results of this experiment that I just had to share it with you!
Mixing stamp sets together comes really naturally to me as I have learned to appreciate the infinite potential of doing this. However I am aware that I don't want to overwhelm my viewers and readers with too many choices.
I think these cards prove a happy medium.
I use just two stamp sets; Hills of Tuscany 162682 and Garden Meadow 162736, or in this case Jardin Des Pres. I was accidently sent the stamp set and Stampin' Up! were kind enough to let me keep it.
The ink pads I used were
Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake
To colour in some of the details I used
Early Espresso, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake and Petal Pink Stampin' Write Markers.
I stamped on Very Vanilla Card, then mounted them on Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Crumb Cake Card.
I love how they have resulted in a tranquil, sepia toned cards.
