{Christmas Stampathon September Home Decor challenge}

Welcome to the...

9th Round of the
Christmas Stampathon 2019

Be inspired every month with a Christmas Challenge on the 25th of the month.

The challenge this month is to make one or more Home Decor items.

When you have made your creation, please photograph it and add it to the Facebook group here.

I am joined by the 3 other demonstrators from around the world

Denise Kepple Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin'  from America

Ellen Woodbridge  and Rosalie Desmond from Australia

I made these vintage inspired decorative pegs.  I love playing with different textures and seeing how they sit together.

Stamp Sets: Crackle, Pop of Petals, Itty Bitty Christmas
Colours: Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot
Tools: Christmas Layers Dies, Four Petal Punch, Leaf Punch
Embellishments: Linen Thread, Burlap Ribbon, Glimmer paper

These little darlings would make great craft stall items, I've sold numerous pegs with a strip of magnet on the back at craft fairs and stalls.  They're a useful and pretty gift.

Don't forget, if you would like a copy of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue you can drop me a line and I'll pop one in the post to you.  If you can't wait that long, you can see it here.

{One Sheet Wonder - Masked Circles}

The idea for this has been floating around in my head for a while.
It finally decided to burst out when I was meant to be going to bed!
Anyway, the results were very pleasing, and after you see the video I'm sure you will be inspired to think about how else you can use this technique with stamps you may have.

The only additional items you need are some sticky notes and something to cut out a circle with, scissors will suffice if you don't have a punch or dies.

This stamp set is particularly helpful for this effect

Here is the sheet before I cut it up.

Then the cards that were made from it.

I had another play on a YouTube live, here is that video.

Don't forget, if you would like a copy of the new Autumn/Winter catalogue you can drop me a line and I'll pop one in the post to you.  If you can't wait that long, you can see it here.

{One Sheet Wonder stamping diagonally and what I made from them}

Hi everyone, this post sharing the results of a YouTube live video which can be found here... be warned it's very long. However if you would like to hear the explanations of my thought process when stamping, you may find it useful.

Here is a faster version

Here are the results of the stamping session

Colours used: Poppy Parade, Balmy Blue, Rococco Rose, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam

Colours used: Melon Mambo, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam

Colours used: Night of Navy, Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue , Seaside Spray

Over the following few days I cut up the stamped sheets and created these cards.

I then did two more YouTube lives where I showed how I cut up the sheet and matting layers.  Again they're both quite long videos, but worth watching if you would like the details.

Here is how I cut up this sheet

and here are the matting layers with lots of rectangles cut out of them.. yes I'm that frugal!

And here are the cards

Well, if you're reached the end of this blog post you deserve a medal!
Thank you for sticking with me, I hope it's inspired you to get your stamps out and play!
