{Stampin Sunday Blog Hop - Holiday Designer Series Paper}

Hello there, and welcome to another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop, today we are focusing on Designer Series Paper from the holiday catalogue. There are so many beautiful ones in there this year.  I have choosen to create a card and envelope from the Frosted Floral Paper.  As usual it is so much more beautiful in real life as it has this pearlised sheen to all sides of the papers.

I got the idea for this card from a lady who participated in my Christmas Challenge in September.  The central portion looks like it is attached by magic! I assure you it's not and when you know how you will love it! I took lots of photos to show you as it really needs to be seen from lot of angles to appreciate it.

Here is a video tutorial on how to  make the card

As the card ended up a little thick, I decided to make a boxelope for it... I know I made up a word! it's basically a very slim box, I used the envelope punch board to do this.  I often use this website here to figure out the measurements. I then created a belly band for it and decorated it with carious die cuts to match the card.

{Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018 - Decorations}

Welcome to the...

10th and final Round of the
Christmas Challenge Stampathon 2018

Be inspired every month with a Christmas Challenge on the 25th of the month.

We are now onto the 10th challenge and its to make at least

4 Decorations or Home Decor pieces

There is lots of inspiration, so head to the blogs of
Denise Kepple Garrison 'Lady Bug Stampin'  from America
Ellen Woodbridge  and Rosalie Desmond from Australia

I wanted to create something a little bit extra special for this last challenge.  The lovely Joy and Noel stamp set just lends itself to be coloured in, and I wanted to feature it as a focal point.

The process took several evenings as they are quite detailed, however I hope that when you see the steps broken down it will inspire you to apply the techniques to a special project like a card or decor piece.

There is still time to take part in the challenge, the link to the Facebook group is below.  To see other blog posts about Christmas makes go here.

Have a look at my tutorial and you will see how easy they are to make.

I love the glimmer paper leaves and how easy it is to spruce up a project with some punch outs.

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Floral Frames meet Brushos}

So I have got into the swing of swap making for the upcoming Stampin' Up! get together in November.  As a result I have several videos lined up for the next few weeks... yay!

I love using Brushos for my creative work and workshops, the results are so instant and satisfying and unpredictable.  I know that might cause an issue for crafters who like to be a little more in control, but I actual enjoy the wait and see aspect of crafting with these powders.   For those of you who are not familiar with them, they are pots of highly pigmented powders that can be sprinkled on to your work then spritzed with water, or mixed with water to create a watercolour paint.

Enjoy the video!

{One Sheet Wonder Wednesday - Abstract Impressions meets Playful Backgrounds}

Hi there, hope you're having a good day.
Today's One Sheet Wonder is a nod to those last days of summer.  As we head into Autumn, the temperatures are dropping here in mid Wales, however we are still enjoying some sunny days, long may they continue!

Here I have combined two photopolymer stamp sets.
Abstract Impressions and Playful Backgrounds, and the colours I have used are
Lemon Lime Twist
Petal Pink
Grapefruit Grove and
Pumpkin Pie
