{Sponge Brayer Class}

I have a few spaces left in a technique class on Tuesday 12th July.  It is an all day event focusing on using the sponge brayer. We will be making 8 cards and learning techniques you can try again at home with the brayer and 2 sponges that are included in the class fee.

The venue is the lovely Royal Oak Hotel in the centre of Welshpool.

Class includes a sandwich lunch and hot drink of your choice and costs £30.
If you would like attend the morning class only it will be £12 (10.00am - 12.00pm)

{Upcoming Classes for the Summer}

I love being a Stampin' Up! Demo, most of all I love playing with the beautifully designed products and showing people how easy stamping is.  However one of the things I am not so good at is general admin and paper work, all important things that need to get done to run a business! Well, here I am being organised, so don't fall off your chairs!  Here are some dates for some events coming up in the next few months.

Bring Your Own Craft Day

Bring Your Own Craft Day Bring your crafty stash to work on your own projects, I will take all my Stampin' Up! supplies for you to play with. 

Bring a packed lunch. Refreshments available.

There will be a small selection of retired paper and card etc you can buy on the day. 

£10 per person (children aged 14 and under can choose £3 of product from the sale table for free) There will be additional classes at 11.00am and 2.00pm 

£5 per class 

Book as soon as you can, as spaces are limited and this is a popular event.

£20 per kit, each kit will have enough supplies to make 4 cards, some paper bunting and your own card game.  You will also go home with a stamp and everything you have made, plus more!

All children to be accompanied by an adult, depending on the ability of the children a kit can be shared between one adult and one or two children.  Please book ASAP as spaces are limited.

This class is not recommended for children younger than six (unless they particularly like crafting).

{Baby card with Balloon Builders and Garden in Bloom}

Been playing with some stamps to create this baby card.  I've used a retired sentiment stamp, I don't often do that as I like to show of products that are available currently.  However the reality is that sometimes just one particular one fits the bill for a card.

{2016 Annual Catalogue Paper Shares}

{Floral and Stripes card}

Hello!
It's been wonderfully warm and sunny weather here in Mid-Wales this past week, lovely to be able to open the doors and windows and get some fresh air through the house, not so keen on those pesky flies though!  I've been a little distracted with gardening, we enlisted the help of two able bodied chaps to help cut hedges, mend gates and generally hack the garden into a good shape.  I managed to tackle a Magnolia tree that was being smothered with Ivy, it also has some Honeysuckle growing up it which I have somewhat released from the evil clutches of the Ivy!  I do love Ivy leaves, but have come to realise how they can overwhelm and damage trees and buildings.

Anyway, I did have a go making this card and have filmed a video for your inspiration and enjoyment.

{Something Old...Something New}

Soooo... what do you think of the new catalogue?

Any must haves on your wish list yet?

This week the children have been off school as it's their half term holiday.  It's been lovely not having to get up for the school run, and enjoy some chilled out days at home.

I've been sneaking off to my craft room to play with some of the new products , here are some cards mixing new colours and stamps with others that have been around already.  I have been experimenting with a whimsical style of stamping and leaving white space to let the designs "breathe".

with fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Joyce Jones on 

Saturday 25th June 

10.00am - 12.30pm

at The Dragon Hotel in Montgomery, Powys

Class fee £15

We'll be making 4 items, and the idea is to inspire you to use paper crafting for celebrations and events.  All tuition and materials provided.

Bookings need to be made by the 20th June.
